Welcome to the Perrott’s Folly website.  

Perrotts Folly, which is one of the oldest buildings in Birmingham and said to be the original inspiration for Tolkiens The Two Towers, is being brought back to life as a major tourist attraction and educational and training facility by Trident Care and Support in partnership with the Perrotts Folly trustees.

The Folly will be receiving a major makeover on its journey to becoming an unmissable addition to Birmingham’s tourist landscape. As part of our plans Perrotts Folly will also become an educational training facility for young people and other groups potentially excluded from the job market, such as people suffering from mental health issues.

We want to make Perrotts Folly an integral part of the community and we believe you have a role to play in that, if you have any ideas or views on what we you want from the Folly please let us know, and we are always looking for volunteers to help us get the Perrotts Folly back to its former glory so if you think you have expertise to help us get in touch, we would love to hear from you.
